Purpose: A KRCA Educational Travel Scholarship of $500 will be awarded for the purpose of advancing a better understanding and appreciation of Russian culture and its people.

Announcement Date: January 2022
Requirements:
1. Fill outthe application below by Nov. 15, 2021
2. Attach your 500 word (max.) essay covering the following areas: • Your planned itinerary including all educational activities you have arranged during your stay such as guided town tours, classroom education, guided museum tours, prearranged meetings with local Russians, University tours, research projects, etc. • The overall purpose of your trip. • Why you are interested in Russian culture.
3. Meet with the KRCA board to discuss your trip and goals.
4. Provide proof of purchase towards your trip (airfare, Russian visa, program acceptance, etc) prior to receiving scholarship money.
5. Present, upon return, a one-hour talk about your trip at a KRCA potluck by May 2021.
