OUR EXCITING NEWS
KRCA has been invited to plant a Peace Pole in Kalamazoo and, thanks to the cooperation of the City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation, we are now able to do so in beautiful Crane Park.

COME JOIN US
 What: Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony
When: 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 21, 2023, the International Day of Peace (a.k.a. World Peace Day)
Where: Crane Park, 2001 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo
Expect: Brief Ceremony and Refreshments

There are over 250,000 Peace Poles “planted” in every country in the world, each one dedicated as a monument to peace! Our Peace Pole in Crane Park has four sides and displays the phrase “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in the six languages that we feel best reflect our sister-city partnership with Pushkin and the diversity of our local community: English, Russian, Potawatomi, Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese.

We are excited to be part of the Peace Pole Project and we encourage city officials, local peace-builders, and our long-time supporters, to grasp this opportunity to support world peace and strengthen our relationship with our sister-city Pushkin, and people from Eastern Europe and throughout the world.
